Competitively priced. Justin made extra effort to find the type of leaf guards I wanted to use. During installation they were very accommodating.and made sure the customer's preferences were addressed. Workmanship was very good.

We continue to utilize Peak for our townhouse complex needs. Most recently we have 8 vents that were all broken. Working with Valentina they came out and changed them all.Another amazing job was completed when they removed a damaged Cupola and patched the roof. Amazing job and skilled crew. Promises made, promises kept.We recently had Desalvo Contracting replace 3 skylights and install a new roof. Big thank you to Jacob, Kyle, Adam and Justin for addressing all of our issues and concerns .We are very pleased with the end results and would gladly recommend their services.

I rarely write reviews, but I am sharing this to warn Hudson area homeowners about the deceptive practices of DeSalvo Contracting. As a licensed Real Estate Broker since 1988, I have high standards for contract integrity, and this company’s behavior was the most unethical I have encountered in decades.On Thursday, 4/9/26, I was subjected to an exhausting 'pricing game' designed to pressure me into a same-day signature. After they originally agreed to a $13,000 price match for CertainTeed Landmark shingles, a new representative arrived at my home and claimed the price was now $19,000. When I refused the $6,000 increase, they called back five minutes later to say they would honor the $13,000 after all.However, the new $13K contract they sent included significant 'hidden' downgrades: they had removed the lead flashing, caulking, and specialized nails, and the labor warranty had been slashed from 10 years to 5 years. When I caught these discrepancies, they sent a third version with the missing materials added in, but the price had jumped back up to $13,900. Only after I questioned this increase did they send a fourth version at $13,000, which they pressured me to sign by midnight.After I signed in good faith, the company called me four days later, on Monday, 4/13/26, to inform me they 'weren’t making enough' and would be unilaterally swapping the agreed-upon CertainTeed shingles for a cheaper, inferior brand. I asked how they could justify changing the materials of a signed legal agreement; the time to 'work the numbers' is prior to delivering a contract and wasting a customer's time.This is a classic 'Bait and Switch.' Attempting to unilaterally change materials after a contract is executed is a violation of the NH Consumer Protection Act (RSA 358-A). This company uses high-pressure tactics to obtain a signature and then attempts to recoup their perceived losses by cutting corners on materials and quality after the fact. Their lack of professionalism made it impossible to trust them with the integrity of my home.

Had a great experience working with DeSalvo Contracting. The team was professional, responsive, and the quality of the work really shows. The roof came out excellent.What stood out most was how they handled everything from start to finish. Communication was clear, the crew was efficient, and they took the time to make sure things were done right.It’s clear they take pride in their work and care about the end result. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable roofing company.

Had a great experience with Desalvo roofing from beginning to end. James was very responsive and explained everything very well. Him and his crew did a great job on the roof as well as cleaning up. Very straightforward business . James is very upfront about everything . There were no hidden costs for stuff . Price is very reasonable . What he quotes you is what I paid. I would recommend them to anyone needing a roof replacement .

When I started noticing water stains in my attic, I knew I had to bring a roofer over. I brought over five roofing companies to get bids. The first four "roofers" were actually salesmen who gave me astronomical prices and wasted over two hours of my time going over slide shows on their iPad about their company before giving me a price at the end. The fifth and final company I spoke to was James from Peter Desalvo Contracting. The first time I spoke with James on the phone, I knew he was a straight shooter and not a salesman. James came over, told me exactly what I needed, didn't sell me something I didn't need, and was very efficient. His pricing is very fair, he used high-quality CertainTeed products, answered all my questions, and was a pleasure to work with. I was home when his crew did the work. I'm not a roofer by any means, but I can tell they put a lot of effort into replacing my roof. His team didn't leave any debris behind, and my roof looks amazing. He addressed the ventilation issue I had to prevent mold from growing back. If anyone is looking to get their roof replaced, do not hesitate to call James. It has been a pleasure doing business.

We had recently moved into a new home that we knew was going to need a new roof by the winter. James came out the next day to do a thorough assessment to ensure we could come up with timing that worked best for us. The entire job was done in 1.5 days (2000sf house) and included gutter placement, soffit venting, new roof with top of the line materials, and clean up. A month or so later we noticed that there was an area that needed better drainage coverage and James came out that week and added a diverter on the roof (free of charge) that completely fixed the issue. Could not recommend them enough!

In November, 2025, I contacted Pete to come and discuss replacing my house and garage roofs. He responded right away. I let him know about the roof and gutter issues, he listened carefully. He put me at ease, fully answered all questions and explained what would happen. He came and was very helpful in choosing the absolute perfect color match of shingles. I felt so comfortable with him and knew that I, without a doubt, would use his company. His estimate came in "under" a previous company's I looked into and NO down payment was necessary. Despite a recent snow storm and cold and wind, he was able to fit me into his schedule quickly! Even though the roof had to be shoveled off and then the snow removed from the ground, the crew dug right in! They were the hardest working crew I have ever seen, they never stopped working!! They were thorough, professional and precise. They were respectful with me and my property. Clean up was awesome and my new roof looks more than amazing!!!! I would not hesitate to hire Pete again and recommend him highly for any of your roofing needs. He is an outstanding young man!

Didn’t plan on doing my roof in December but ended up having to. Got three quotes, all pretty similar. I always go with local businesses when possible. One claimed to be local but wasn’t. The other two were. What set Peter and his team apart was when I was undecided, he had his Foreman (James) reach out and simply ask “how can I earn your business?” James came by a second time to walk the lot, offered advice and committed to doing whatever it took to get the job completed the right way. They came through on all their promises and timelines flawlessly. And this was all done after the first snow of the year, very cold, windy, etc. James and his team were total pros. Can’t recommend them more highly. Excellent experience!!

I had a very small job in Alton Bay just replacing the roof peaks on the house. It was 4 sections: The main roof, family room, garage and 3 season porch. The estimates were in line with the others that I received. The deciding factor was my rapport with Justin. The crew did a good job. It was quick work and clean up was outstanding. I was very pleased and will probably go with them when it is time for a total replacement. I highly recommend Peter Desalvo Contracting.

Jim Psomiades at Desalvo contracting was my project manager and he was fantastic. It's rare these days that a contractor actually follows through on what they say. When Jim said here's what we're going to do and when we're going to get the job done, that's what happened. He was super responsive and transparent. I just got a new roof put in by Peter and team. Peter came over to my residence quickly upon reaching out to provide an estimate, in which was priced aggressively. Peter and team were at my house within 7 days to install a new roof in which came out great. I'd use Peter again for contracting needs

My roof needed to be stripped and shingled with a couple of repair spots. Peter gave me an estimate that beat everybody else’s. Peter and his crew showed up at 7:00 in the morning and the crew left at 7:00 in the evening. After the crew was finished cleaning up all of the old roofing material and nails, my yard looked better than when they arrived. My roof is a large roof over 24 square and I was amazed it was done in one day. I would recommend these guys to everyone who needs a roof, I already have recommended them to a condo association. I made the right decision when I hired Peter DeSalvo Contracting. I couldn't be happier with the work the team performed in such an efficient , clean, and orderly manner. I have a beautiful new roof and gutter system thanks to James Psomiades and his crew, who did an amazing job.. James is an honest and caring guy who never took advantage of my situation (unexpected tree and wind storm damage ) and gave me the best price of anyone that I interviewed . If I hadn't hired James I would have spent needless money on work that was not even needed quoted by another company that I interviewed .Thank you James !

Peter and his crew were amazing. Knowing we had a tight timeframe, he had his crew to our house on a Saturday in 90 degree heat. They were superior not only in the quality of work, but respect for our property. One day done and beautifully executed with fair pricing. 10 stars!
